Caswell & Sons has been answering the phone in Eastern Connecticut since 2010. Family-owned, master-licensed, and still based in Canterbury.
A one-man shop in Canterbury, still answering its own phone.
Kevin Caswell opened Caswell & Sons in 2010 with one truck, a set of hand-cut threading dies, and a phone book listing in Canterbury. The work was straightforward back then. Repipes for old farmhouses, well pumps that quit in February, a furnace that needed coaxing through one more winter. The customers were neighbors. Most of them still are.
16 years later, the trucks have multiplied and the trades have expanded (plumbing, heating, cooling, water heaters, well pumps), but the way the shop runs has not really changed. The phone gets answered by a person.
Four things we have not moved in 16 years.

We dispatch across the Quiet Corner and Eastern Connecticut. If your town is on the list, you are inside our standard radius. If it is not, call and ask. We add and drop towns based on where the crews are working that week.
